David Epstein will be performing with the Weathervane Playhouse in Newark, Ohio (http://weathervaneplayhouse.org/2017-summer-season/) in the summer of 2017 performing Luther Billis in “South Pacific”; several characters in “Peter and the Star Catcher” and in the ensemble of “Children of Eden”

April 28th, 2017- Lighthouse Guild Concert at the Metropolitan Museum of Art

The Filomen M. D’Agostino Greenberg School of Music at Lighthouse Guild will be performing at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on Friday evening, April 28th at 7 pm. This is free and open to the public. The theme of the concert is Reflections celebrating their 20th anniversary.

Jazmine Sinkoff will be play Clara and Madeline Canfield will be playing Virginia in Charles Strouse’s, Marty at the York Theater on 54th Street and Lexington Avenue in May of 2016.

May 25, 2016 – An evening of Opera and Musical Theater

The Lighthouse Guild Music School will be presenting an evening of Opera and Musical Theater on Wednesday evening, May 25th at 6:00 pm. Performance space — 15 West 65th street (off CPW), first floor. Performances include excerpts from Carmen, Cosi, Die Fledermaus, On the Town, Company, South Pacific and more.  Admission is free!

Charlotte Surkin to lecture at the International College Music Society (CMS)

Charlotte Surkin will be giving a lecture at the Conference at the International College Music Society (CMS) in Sydney, Australia in the summer of 2017. Her topic is “Teaching Singing to Students who are Blind and Visually Impaired”.

Sorry, Wrong Number is a conversational one act opera by Jack Beeson with the libretto by the composer adapted from the play by Lucille Fletcher, performed with the Center for Contemporary Opera (Richard Marshall, General Director and conductor).
